Library Services

At Gabe P. Allen New Tech Academy, the library supports the classrooms and school by:

• Keeping our book and e-book collection current and available for our learning community.
• Creating displays that generate interest in books for student and teacher use.
• Generate an interest in books and authors by conducting read aloud sessions for students visiting the library.
• Curating resources for teachers and students to use to support curricular and extended learning opportunities.
• Promoting reading events offered by the school, district, public library, or other sources that would appeal to our learning community.
• Managing the school website and social media platforms to keep our community informed.
• Create flyers/announcements for school-wide events.
• Manage technology devices and inventory for the campus. This includes Chromebooks, iPads, etc.
• Maintain technology inventory in all classrooms/offices on campus by encouraging staff member participation.
• Provide assistance where needed and directed by school administrators
